Caravan Sites, Camping (Powered and Unpowered Sites), Bungalows & Cabins
Captain Cook Holiday Village was designed to suit everyone. It has self-contained cabins, bungalows, powered sites and campsites scattered over two-and-a-half hectares. Cabins have full kitchen facilities, ceiling fans, air conditioning, and have ensuite facilities. Some can accommodate up to a family of five . The bungalows are similar but without ensuite facilities or air conditioning. Linen is provided. Powered sites for caravans, campervans and tents are in shady spots of native bush setting.
There is an abundance of unpowered campsites throughout the park and the whole place is a sanctuary for lorikeets, kangaroos, wild bush turkeys and possums. There is access to a secluded surfing beach which is free of stingers and crocodiles.
The Deck Bistro is a favourite for good food and entertainment. It is just a simple room with a bar, but the emphasis is on dining outdoors so the views can be enjoyed. It is open Tuesday night through to Saturday night, serving fare such as fresh oysters (when available) & fresh fish of the day with a regularly changing menu. It is a licensed restaurant with an unsurpassed ambience.
